Lions Year 2009 - 2010
and beyond

Because Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs are continually thinking of new ways to earn money, this calendar is always a work in progress.  If you are a District 33Y Club and don't see one of your events here - let the Webmaster know - there is a link at the bottom.

What do Lions do? Nice of you to ask. We donate money to many, many needy causes. And to provide this money, we hold many different fund raisers.

We have chicken barbecues, pig roasts, raffles, and art auctions. We march in parades. We sponsor casino trips, a Hockey Night and a Sleigh Rally. We run golf tournaments, car shows, blood drives, foot races and snowmobile races. We participate in community events: Family Fun Days, Fall Foliage Festivals, Children's Circus, and Bazaars. We sell light bulbs, brooms, chocolate Easter rabbits and Christmas trees. Enough to keep you busy all year long: having fun and helping us help others.

Events without dates occur in the month listed. This may be because the event date was not known when the calendar was put together. Or it may be a recurring event that happens regularly and the date can easily be determined by the information given in the listing. Contact the club for more specific dates. There are also e-mail links at the bottom of the page.

Activities of the District 33Y EyeMobile can be found at http://www.lions-33y.org/33Y-eyemobile.html
