Club Events

  • EyeGlass Recycling: Berkshire Eye Center, Walmart's, Optical Care Associates, Ames Department Store in Lenox and the Pittsfield Post Office
  • Returnable Can Drives:  About a week before a holiday we have certain streets that we go door to door and put a door hangar on each house. One week later, after the holiday on a Saturday we go up and down these same streets and the people put the cans and bottles out by the curb or by their porches for us. Our club conducts six or seven of these returnable can drives a year.
  • Chocolate Easter Rabbits: We sell chocolate Easter Rabbits for the two months before Easter in front of the Pittsfield Post Office. Also, we sell them individually to our friends and family.
  • Pennies For Sight: We have approximately 83 containers, placed in local business in Hinsdale, Dalton, Westfield and Pittsfield, to collect change from the public, to be donated to Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund, Inc.
